Innovación El Mercurio – law firms adapting to AI and new technologies

Juan Hurtado, one of the lawyers who built up the Palma Tech area of our firm, commented in Innovación El Mercurio on how law firms address issues of artificial intelligence and new technologies.
Among other aspects, he mentioned the advantages of using AI at work, by freeing up time and allowing greater efficiency. But he also referred to Palma’s protocol on the use of AI and why this was developed. “The adoption of a rigorous protocol on the use of AI has to do with what is most relevant to the work of a law firm: confidentiality and respect for ethics, especially respect for the sensitive information we work with daily.”, Juan explained.
